Privacy policy

This page explains which data this website processes, why, and where it is stored. It covers rythplanner.com and the beta waitlist. The German version is the binding one.

Controller

No cookies, no ads

This website sets no cookies, loads no fonts or scripts from other servers (except the visitor statistics below) and contains no advertising or social media trackers.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, time, page and browser to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count how many people visit the page and where they come from. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and builds no profiles; only aggregated numbers are evaluated. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing whether our videos and the page work (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Beta waitlist

When you sign up, we store your email address and, if you choose to tell us, your phone (iPhone or Android) and what you mainly want to use Ryth for. We also store the language of the page, the platform you came from (for example TikTok) and the time of sign-up and confirmation with your IP address, so we can prove your consent.

We use this data only to invite you to the beta, to send you news about Ryth's launch and to understand who is interested in Ryth. Sign-up uses double opt-in: you are only on the list once you click the link in the confirmation email.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to [email protected]. We keep the data until you unsubscribe or we end the project; then we delete it.

If you are under 16, you need your parents' consent to sign up.

Brevo

The waitlist and the emails run on Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France). Brevo stores the data on servers in the EU and processes it only on our behalf, under a data processing agreement according to Art. 28 GDPR. Brevo records whether emails are opened and links clicked, so we can see whether our emails arrive.

Emailing us

If you write to [email protected], Cloudflare forwards the email to our mailbox at Google (Gmail). We use it only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Just write to [email protected]. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Thuringian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
